Annual gem show rocks Expo Center

Last weekend brought the return of the Gem, Mineral & Jewelry Show to Abilene.

The annual market is brought to the Taylor County Expo Center by the Central Texas Gem & Mineral Society.

Vendors from around the region showed fossilized ammonites, fish, dazzling geodes and a host of jewelry made from polished stone and gems.
