Thanksgiving is right around the corner. Families will gather around the dinner table on Nov. 24 for turkey and all the trimmings.
Above all, giving thanks and giving back is what the holiday is all about.
Beginning on Monday, Nov. 14, the Harvest Helpings Initiative will begin its annual food distribution program. Those in need will receive turkeys, fresh produce and pantry staples at the food bank’s eight county service areas: Nassau, St. Johns, Bradford, Baker, Clay, Putnam, Duval and Flagler.
Volunteers will be on-site to support the initiative on Nov. 14, 15, and 19.
When and where will the free food distribution take place?

Morgan & Morgan and Feeding Northeast Florida have partnered together for this program. Morgan & Morgan also announced a $100,000 donation to Feeding Northeast Florida earlier this year in support of their mission to solve hunger in northeast Florida.
