The annual Warner Robins July 4th celebration is back. Here’s the free concert lineup

The city of Warner Robins has announced its 40th annual Independence Day celebration that will take place on Saturday, July 1.

The event will be held in the parking lot of the McConnell-Talbert Stadium (400 South Davis Drive) and will feature a free concert.

Here’s the lineup:

Scott Stapp, frontman for the now defunct band rock band Creed, will headline the July 4th celebration. Stapp’s latest solo album released in 2019 debuted in the Top 5 and Top 10 album charts in the U.S. and U.K.

Next in the lineup is Jefferson Starship, a world famous rock group in the 1970s and ‘80s. The band has been awarded three platinum and eight gold records, several Top 40 singles and in 2016, the band was awarded a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Dazz Band will also be playing soulful R&B, funk tunes and Macon native, Andre A. Jones, “AJ the DJ”, will be keeping the party alive throughout the night.

“We are thrilled to celebrate 40 years of this event with such talented and notable artists,” said Warner Robins Mayor LaRhonda Patrick. “The Fourth of July is an incredibly important date in our nation’s history, so it’s good that we take time with family and friends to honor and celebrate the people and the qualities that make this country so special.”

The event will also have tasty food vendors, food trucks and a firework extravaganza at the end of the night.

Gates open at 5 p.m. and tickets are not required. For more information and updates, follow the event’s Facebook page.
