Another bomb cyclone storm is on the way. Here's how much snow Somerset County could get.

Another bomb cyclone storm is expected hit Somerset County on Saturday. Between 3 and 7 inches of snow is being forecasted across the county.

"Confidence is growing for a significant storm that will bring wide-reaching impacts," AccuWeather meteorologist Alex DaSilva said.

It's anticipated that the bomb cyclone will cause wind gusts between 40 and 60 mph while dropping significant snow in the mountains. Tree damage is of concern, according to AccuWeather.

"It is within this Appalachian zone that the air will be cold enough at the onset of precipitation, or turn colder dramatically during the event, for mostly snow to fall, with accumulations ranging from a few inches to a foot or more," AccuWeather senior meteorologist Alex Sosnowski said.

The National Weather Service advised that there will be hazardous weather conditions from 10 p.m. Friday to 1 a.m. Sunday.

Temperatures are then to climb into the 40s and 50s throughout next week, likely melting all of the new snow after residents turn their clocks forward.
