Another drive-through coffee chain coming to Wichita. First shop will open on busy corner

Central and Hillside is about to become coffee central in Wichita.

Another coffee chain — Arkansas-based drive-through coffee chain 7 Brew — is entering the Wichita market, and its first location will be at the spot at 3031 E. Central where the Noble House Hawaiian restaurant most recently operated. It’s set to open sometime in August.

The chain, which also has a location in Topeka, plans to open more stores in Wichita next year, according to a news release.

The empty Noble House space near Central and Hillside won’t be empty long. A coffee chain called 7 Brew is taking over the space.

The shop will serve coffee beverages, infused energy drinks, Italian sodas, smoothies and teas. The focus at 7 Brew is fast-service, and it says it’s known for its short wait times. It has 20 locations in Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas and South Carolina.

The 7 Brew chain is opening its first Wichita store on a highly competitive corner. In addition to a Starbucks right next door, Dunkin’ franchisee Dan Day is about to open his first drive-through only shop right across the street.
