Another early kick as TV channel, game time set for USC football vs. Vanderbilt

The kickoff time and TV channel for South Carolina’s next football game are set.

The USC Gamecocks play the Vanderbilt Commodores at home at noon on Saturday, Nov. 11 at Williams-Brice Stadium, it was announced Monday. The game will be televised on SEC Network.

It will be USC’s second-to-last conference game of the season, with a home bout versus Kentucky on tap for the following week.

South Carolina (2-6, 1-5 SEC), has dropped four games in a row: Tennessee (41-20), Florida (41-39), Missouri (34-12) and Texas A&M (30-17). With four contests left on the schedule and two wins to their name, the Gamecocks need four more victories to reach bowl eligibility.

This will be the 33rd meeting between South Carolina and Vanderbilt (2-7, 0-5). USC leads the all-time series 28-4 having won 38-27 last year in Nashville.

The Gamecocks play the other Gamecocks of Jacksonville State at home this Saturday after USC’s most recent loss to the Texas A&M Aggies.

The Commodores are coming off a 33-7 loss to Ole Miss. They play the Auburn Tigers at home this coming weekend.
