It was odd when Marc Badain stepped down as Raiders team president last week, in light of the team set to host fans in their new stadium which he helped make a reality. Especially considered there was no warning he would be resigning.

Today, it got even more strange. As Sports Business Journal is reporting Raiders Senior VP of Strategy and Business Development Brandon Doll also left the organization last week, shortly after Badain.

Doll was entering his ninth year with the organization, and his second as Senior VP. His role, according to the Raiders was “focusing on strategic partnerships and growth initiatives related to Allegiant Stadium and Raiders core businesses.”

Again, making it all the more strange that he would step down now, with the first game with fans present at the stadium which was the primary thrust of his job just weeks away.

Doll also served on the Las Vegas Bowl committee.
