To the editor:

This past Monday Quincy Mayor Tom Koch yet again lost a case before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.

This time it was over his doggedly fighting the City of Boston's legal rights to rebuild its Long Island Bridge on its dime.

Even though Koch does not have viable demurs, he is continuing this fight on behalf of Squantum NIMBYs.

A key Koch beef is over traffic.

Court ruling: Quincy says latest court ruling 'not a green light' to rebuild Long Island Bridge

Ferry service: Long Island ferry service just got a vote of confidence. Here's where things stand.

So what that Long Island traffic flow before the old bridge was condemned and then demolished is grandfathered.

Even more galling is his hypocrisy. Koch accommodated FedEx opening a distribution facility in half of the Boston Scientific warehouse adjacent to Marina Bay as well as ran over impacted residents.

He has also facilitated thousands of new multiple-unit residential units with thousands more planned.

Koch has also been advised by U.S. Attorney Rachael Rollins that  Quincy is under investigation for possible civil rights violations under the Americans with Disabilities Act over his hindering of Boston's plans to rebuild its bridge.

U.S. Attorney investigation: Are Quincy's efforts to stop the Long Island Bridge rebuild a civil rights violation?

Most importantly, Quincy taxpayers need to understand that at some point Koch's nonsense runs the risk of a lawsuit filed by Boston to recover costs incurred by his vexatious nonsense.

Basta!
