The Russian invaders have effectively destroyed the town of Rubizhne in Luhansk Oblast - not a single building has escaped damage, and many of them cannot possibly be restored.

Source: Serhii Haidai, head of the Luhansk Oblast Military Administration, on Telegram

Haidai quote: "Rubizhne has shared the fate of Mariupol. The industrial city has been completely destroyed, not a single building has remained intact, many of the houses can’t possibly be restored. There are cemeteries in the courtyards."

Details: Haidai reminded us that before the war over 60,000 people lived here, working in factories, in the public sector, in thriving small businesses. Yet today, Rubizhne consists of "looted, burnt-out shells of buildings".

Furthermore, Haidai says there are still people in the city who are "living in basements, held hostage by the Kadyrovites."

Haidai posted a photo of the destroyed city and added that Rubizhne will have to be built almost from scratch.
