Another Quaker Oats granola bar has been recalled for potential salmonella

(WHTM) — The Quaker Oats Company has announced that it is expanding its December recall of various granola bars and cereal products for the second time, due to the risk of salmonella contamination.

The company announced Wednesday, January 31, that an additional granola bar, the Quaker Chewy Dipps Llama Rama bar, has been added to the list of recalled products in the U.S.

According to the FDA, the recalled granola bars were discontinued in September 2023 and have “Best Before” dates of February 10 or 11, 2024.

This is the latest in a string of salmonella recalls from Quaker Oats. The company’s initial recall was issued on December 15, 2023. It was then expanded on January 11, 2024.

The recalled products were sold throughout the 50 United States, Puerto Rico, Guam, and Saipan.
