Columbus, Ga (WRBL)- This afternoon we are watching a second round of storms move through, and some of them have been strong. These have been fueled by those warmer than average temperatures that warmed into the upper 70s.
Tomorrow morning, we will see a short break from the rain but most of us will wake up to areas of fog tomorrow morning. Scattered storms will move back in tomorrow afternoon, but the chance for severe weather remains low.
We are WEATHER AWARE again Saturday afternoon as another line of storms moves through that afternoon. The Storm Prediction Center has already issued at 2 out of 5 risk for parts of the News 3 viewing area. We will once again be watching for areas of flooding and damaging winds, but a brief tornado cannot be ruled out.
Behind this front, temperatures will cool back off to near average by Sunday afternoon. Calmer and clearer conditions return by the start of next week.
