Anthony Davis leaves game against Clippers with back spasms

The Lakers waited for more than a month for their two superstars to return to the lineup, and after a few short games with both LeBron James and Anthony Davis playing together once again, both stars are already dealing with new injury issues on the eve of the NBA playoffs.

James was ruled out for a Thursday and Friday back-to-back against the Clippers and Blazers due to ankle soreness, and disaster struck for the Lakers on Thursday night when Davis exited the game with back spasms, according to the team.

Davis left the game in the first quarter and was evaluated, and was eventually ruled out while the game was in the third quarter. Davis also appeared to tweak his ankle early in the game.
