Anti-Lockdown Protesters Sing National Anthem Outside Legislative Building in Raleigh

Anti-lockdown protests continued in North Carolina on April 28, with demonstrators holding a rally outside the State Legislative Building in Raleigh.

This video shows protesters singing the national anthem and holding signs, some of which say “Reopen NC,” “we the people,” and “end medical tyranny.” Others called for Gov Roy Cooper to resign.

A number of health care workers staged a counterprotest at the scene, according to reports.

WRAL reported that two people were arrested during clashes with police for “walking on the sidewalk outside” the governor’s mansion.
