Anti-Racism Protesters Block Traffic in Philadelphia

Demonstrators in Philadelphia blocked traffic at a busy intersection on Thursday, June 11, as protests against police brutality continued across the United States.

This video shows protesters and police at the intersection of John F Kennedy Boulevard and North 15th Street.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that protesters “marched from Logan Circle to City Hall, sitting in the intersection of 15th and JFK Blvd. while chanting “Black Lives Matter” and repeating Floyd’s name as the rain dissipated. The protest briefly stalled traffic before police diverted the vehicles around the demonstration.”
