Anti-War Protesters Block Trucks at Poland-Belarus Border

Protesters against Russia’s invasion of Ukraine blocked transport trucks at the Polish-Belarusian border during a demonstration that started on Saturday, March 19, and continued through Monday, March 21.

Footage by Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) shows backed-up traffic at the checkpoint in Kukuryki in Poland.

Protesters have been blocking trade on and off for two weeks because Belarus has allowed Russian forces to use the country as a staging ground for their invasion of Ukraine, RFE/RL said.

According to a report by the Kyiv Independent, the activists demanded that the European Union stop trade with Russia. Credit: Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty via Storyful
