A serene location, timeless architecture and engaging amenities have turned Antilles into a prime destination community in south Naples. Check the Activities Calendar in the Flamingo Club amenity center’s Lobby, read the Newsletter, Antilles is a fun place to live. JMD Developers and the John R. Wood Developer Resources team host regular monthly get togethers for homeowners to mix and mingle casually, get to know each other and discover interests they share with their neighbors. Last month’s Super Bowl party was well attended and benefitted from heavy homeowner involvement, from appetizers to clean up. This week’s high spirited St. Patrick’s Day celebration and Antilles’ upcoming Seafood Boil are current examples of how management supports the development of a community rapport.

Impromptu homeowners’ parties around the Resort Pool and Fire Pit come together often, particularly on the weekends, when BBQ, brews and easy conversations can take over Antilles’ huge Outdoor Living Area until lights out, even the cheerful party lights that trim the oversized Tiki Hut. Only the highlighted waterfall sights and sounds of Kingfisher Lake’s triple-tiered fountains remain.

As the community grows, Antilles’ regulation Pickleball and Bocce Game Courts are beginning to gain traction among homeowners as well. Teams form casually and everyone is invited to join, learn or practice. Groups are formed more by availability than skill level at this point in Antilles’ growth as everyone is learning the range of each other’s talent. These are fun and accessible sports anyone can enjoy. In the category of ‘sights to behold’, Dazzleball made its debut in Naples at Antilles. It is pickleball played in the dark under blacklight, which illuminates the neon and natural florescence of equipment, clothing and trims in high relief. Antilles has hosted several of these nighttime events to introduce the community to a larger audience. A 4-hole Putting Green was recently added to Antilles’ list of amenities in the Game Courts area. All equipment is available to owners and their guests in the Fitness Center as a courtesy of JMD Development. Antilles offers full 24-hour access to the Flamingo Club’s indoor amenities.

Its big screen TV and Fireplace Lounge is available for movie nights. So far, the Fitness Center gets by far the most off-hour traffic, though Sonny’s Cafe and Coffee Bar runs a close second.

Antilles’ Coach Homes currently under construction in Phase 2 easily sold out as inventory residences in its first phase, which included about one-third of its total 212 homes. Antilles Classic Coach Homes are also included in Phase Two. They are priced from the upper-$400,000’s and as starter properties will continue to occupy a significant segment of the 54-acre community’s composition. The new decorator model currently being fitted out for its first floor Saba unit showcases a revised Classic Coach Home Kitchen layout that relocates Phase One’s Pantry from the center of the room to a side wall, which significantly opens up its Great Room footprint without increasing the unit’s overall square footage. The Saba is a 3-Bedroom plan and includes 1,537 square feet under air. It offers direct Garage access and all Classic Coach Homes include individual, single car Garages and screened-in Lanais.

The somewhat smaller, upper floor Tobago is also a 3-Bedroom floorplan with 1,509 square feet. It showcases higher ceilings and cove detailing in its peninsula style Kitchen, plus the relocated Pantry noted above. Its top floor views in particular are uninterrupted in all directions. The Tobago mirrors the Saba floorplan and is arranged in a split Bedroom format, with the Master Suite located across the residence from the other Bedrooms.
