Antisemitic Flyers Left Around Huntington Beach Neighborhood

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — Residents of a Huntington Beach neighborhood awoke Tuesday morning to find that an unknown person left flyers at their houses featuring antisemitic messages referencing President Joe Biden and COVID-19.

Around 15 houses near the area of Bushard Street and Hamilton Avenue received the racist flyers, city spokeswoman Jennifer Carey said.

The Huntington Beach Police Department believed the fliers were an isolated incident, according to Mayor Barbara Delgleize. She said detectives were "taking it very seriously and following every lead."

"The messaging contained within these flyers does not reflect the values or ideas we believe here in Huntington Beach," Delgleize said. "We have zero tolerance for hateful rhetoric or prejudice within our community."

A resident shared images of the two-sided flyer on Twitter. It featured the phrase, "Let's go, Brandon," which is considered by conservatives as code for "F--- Joe Biden," and claimed that "every single aspect of the COVID agenda is Jewish."

The flyer also listed several government health officials and drug company CEOs, claiming they are Jewish.

This wasn't the first time racist flyers have struck an Orange County neighborhood.

Residents in Newport Beach found someone had left KKK propaganda in front of their homes in March promoting white supremacy. The flyers were left days before a "White Lives Matter" rally in Huntington Beach.

Anyone with information about the flyers was asked to call the Huntington Beach Police Department at 714-960-8811.
