Antonio Brown returns to football field on Sunday

Antonio Brown will be returning to the football field to play for the first time in over a year, as he will play for the Albany Empire next Sunday, he confirmed to Rodger Wyland of WNYT.

Brown has not played football since running out of the field in New York as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in early 2022. He is the owner of the Albany Empire and declared his intentions to suit up for the team early last week. Now, those plans appear to be coming to fruition.

He will play that game against the Fayetteville Mustangs, and the game will take place at 7 p.m. in Albany at the MVP Arena. A seven-time pro bowler, Brown is hoping that he can give his team the boost they need after they were crushed by the Jacksonville Sharks 79-34 on Saturday night.
