Anyone can vote early in Manatee County’s 2022 primary election. Here’s how

Starting Saturday, Manatee County voters will be able to cast their ballots in person ahead of the primary election on Aug. 23.

Manatee County’s 2022 primary election ballot questions include congressional representation, school board members and county commission races.

There are five different early voting locations, according to the Manatee County Supervisor of Elections.

Unlike Election Day, when a voter must visit their assigned polling place, each early voting is open to all voters.

Each location is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The locations are as follows:

  • Lakewood Ranch Town Hall, 8175 Lakewood Ranch Blvd., Lakewood Ranch

  • Manatee County Utilities Administration Office, 4410 66th St. W., Bradenton

  • Palmetto Library, 923 Sixth St. W., Palmetto

  • Rocky Bluff Library, 6750 U.S. 301, Ellenton

  • Supervisor of Elections Office, 600 301 Blvd. W., Bradenton

Early voting runs from Saturday, Aug. 13, to Saturday, Aug. 20. Always remember to bring your photo and signature ID when voting.

Vote-by-mail ballots have also been sent to voters who requested them. Mail ballots must be returned to the Supervisor of Elections Office by 7 p.m. Aug. 23.
