Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez opened the floor Tuesday to ideas on who would staff President-elect Joe Biden’s Cabinet.

The unsolicited list she got was straight out of the Republicans' nightmares.

“Put Ilhan Omar in charge of Homeland Security, if that has to exist,” wrote Twitter user K.C. Sinclair. “She will keep those babies safe and focus on the real threat of white supremacy.”

That user also wanted to see fellow “Squad” members Rashida Tlaib and Ayana Pressley in AOC’s hypothetical “Dream Cabinet.”

Sinclair recommended Tlaib (D-Mich.) to head the Department of Justice, while Pressley (D-Mass.) would handle Health and Human Services in her best-case scenario.

Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren’s name came up several times and for a handful of positions. One Twitter user identifying herself as a Marine Corps veteran nominated Warren as Treasury Secretary. Twitter pundit Anna Gifty had a plan to put the former teacher in charge of education.

“Elizabeth Warren and several Elizabeth Warren clones,” comedian Ashley Nicole Black suggested to fill Biden’s cabinet.

Several Twitter users warned against removing Warren from the Senate, noting her seat could go to a Republican.

User Beth and Pancakes offered ideas instead of names.

“Sec of Ed - a teacher from a low income district.” she tweeted. “HHS - someone that has suffered from lack of health insurance VA - a disabled vet Energy - an environmentalist Justice - pick any overworked, underpaid public defender.”

More than one respondent voted to have the Department of Homeland Security eliminated altogether.

Actor Michael Rapaport volunteered his services to handle the media. “I wanna be press secretary,” the “Big Fan” star tweeted.

South Bend, Ind. Mayor Pete Buttigieg, a navy veteran who challenged Biden in the Democratic primary, had his name thrown into the mix. So did Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, who one Twitter user wanted to see as the next Secretary of Defense. Others saw Sanders taking on an economics role.

Andrew Wang was nominated for several posts, including Secretary of Transportation. That role is currently held by Elaine Chao, who is married to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

Notably, many of the potential lists didn’t include Ocasio-Cortez’s name.

Biden has not officially announced his Cabinet members, but is said to be considering both Democratic and Republican candidates.
