Two of Arizona’s most notorious Trump-cult members are at it again.

U.S. Rep. Paul Gosar posted a bizarre, anti-immigrant anime video on Twitter, in which he appears to be killing U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. It has more than 3 million views and 30,000-plus likes.

Ocasio-Cortez blasted Gosar and Republican leaders who instead of calling him out actually egg him on his despicable threat.

“So while I was en route to Glasgow, a creepy member I work with who fundraises for Neo-Nazi groups shared a fantasy video of him killing me And he’ll face no consequences bc @GOPLeader cheers him on with excuses,” she said on Twitter.

Meanwhile, fellow Republican state Sen. Wendy Rogers couldn’t resist jumping into the fray by making Big Bird the latest COVID-19-vaccine villain.

“Big Bird is a communist,” she tweeted over the weekend when Big Bird’s COVID-19-vaccine message blew up.

Yep. The beloved “Sesame Street” character is now at the center of war for souls and votes.

And yep, if America doesn’t wake up, Trump’s cult could win the war at the ballot box either with a series of endless battles or with one huge blow to America’s heart.

How did Big Bird get dragged into this? Over the weekend, Big Bird tweeted that he had gotten the COVID-19 jab in a clear attempt to promote the shot now available to children ages 5 to 11.

President Joe Biden prompted reacted to Big Bird’s tweet, saying, “Good on ya, @BigBird. Getting vaccinated is the best way to keep your whole neighborhood safe.”

Reaction from the anti-vaccine crowd led by Sen. Ted Cruz was swift, saying Big Bird is spreading government propaganda while others called it “brainwashing children.”

Big Bird’s debut as the newest COVID-19 villain is rivaling Gosar’s weird anime video for public and media attention.

That’s what the good guys and gals fighting for America’s democratic ideals – for the country’s soul – are up against.

Anyone who still believes Trump’s cult isn’t a powerful enemy determined to win the war at the ballot box is living in Dreamland.
