US President Joe Biden on Saturday hailed the House passage of the $1.9 trillion coronavirus bill. The bill now heads to the Senate where fights could erupt over state aid and other issues.

Vice President Kamala Harris said Saturday, "the button is now in our hands." Harris was speaking at the White House's virtual Black History Month celebration. She's the first person of Black and South Asian descent to serve in the role.

Leading political figures in New York attended a rally in Manhattan Saturday in support of the Asian-American community. Asian-Americans have been victims of random attacks in recent weeks, prompting city authorities to renew efforts to stop such attacks.
