More than 15,000 people tested positive for the coronavirus in Florida on Saturday. That's the most new cases recorded in one day by any state since the pandemic began.
21 people, mostly sailors, were treated for minor injuries after an explosion and fire on a navy ship. The blast occurred as the USS Bonhomme Richard was docked in San Diego.
Actress Naya Rivera remained missing on Sunday, days after renting a boat at a California lake. Authorities said last week they presume Rivera drowned and they don't suspect foul play.
Multiple reports say the NFL Washington Redskins will get a new name on Monday. Native American leaders have pressured the NFL to change the team's name.
