APD discovers 500 images of child pornography in Abilene home

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – The Abilene Police Department executed a search warrant in an Abilene home and discovered 500 images of child pornography.

Ernesto Sanchez was charged with possession of child porn. Court documents indicate that police got a search warrant for Sanchez’s home after they received a tip. The documents also noted that Sanchez confessed to having the images.

Sanchez remains held in the Taylor County Jail on a $135,000 bond.
