‘We apologize’: Major Boise concert postponed — again — one day before the show

If you intended to see quirky rock band Ween perform Tuesday at Outlaw Field in Boise, adjust your plans.

The concert has been postponed one week, until July 5, “due to a positive COVID diagnosis in the band,” according to the Idaho Botanical Garden website.

“We apologize to all ticket holders for the inconvenience and hope you can join us next week,” promoter Knitting Factory added on Facebook. “At this time all other dates are planned to happen as scheduled. Refund window closes Friday, July 1. We’ll see you next week!”

The pandemic has not been kind to Ween fans in the Treasure Valley — not to mention anyone who might have traveled to Boise in advance for the show. This is the third time the concert has been rescheduled. The June 28 performance was a rescheduled date from a postponed 2021 Ween show at Outlaw Field. And that gig was a rescheduled date from a 2020 Ween concert at the same venue. Tickets remain available for $52 at Ticketmaster.

Outlaw Field in Boise has the capacity for about 4,000 concertgoers.
