Singer/songwriter Jed Wyatt is vying for Hannah Brown's love on "The Bachelorette," but it appears she's not the only woman who has his heart.
Fellow musician Haley Stevens told People that she was in a serious relationship with the Nashville native for four months before he left to film "The Bachelorette" in March.
"We spent the night together the night before he headed to L.A.," Stevens told the outlet. "He told me (the show) was just an obstacle and we’d be stronger on the other side because of it."
In fact, Stevens said they enjoyed a romantic getaway to the Bahamas, where they both said "I love you" for the first time, after Wyatt learned he would officially join the cast in February.

Wyatt allegedly signed up for the reality dating show before they started dating. Stevens claimed that she agreed to stay with him because he promised he was only participating to promote his career and gain recognition.
"He said, 'It’s probably not going to happen, but it’s a huge opportunity. I’m only doing this for my music,'" Stevens told People. "He wanted a platform. … He said he only wanted to be top five … to be a major player so that it would be beneficial."
But, Stevens' worst fears started to come true as the dating competition – and the romantic chemistry between Wyatt and Brown – progressed.
"I was terrified that he would fall in love with Hannah," she told the outlet. "In the beginning I felt bad (watching the show) because I thought he loved me and was faking dating her. But then I thought, 'My boyfriend could be engaged to someone else.' "

Wyatt has emerged as a front-runner for Brown's heart, entering the top nine following Monday's elimination. He also revealed his ulterior motives to Brown on a one-on-one date in Boston during Week 4.
The musician told Brown that when he signed up to appear on "The Bachelorette," his first thought was about his music, but everything changed: "Now more than anything, I want to be with you."
"I’m starting to feel like I’m falling for you more and more," he added.
The moment was hard for Stevens to stomach. "Seeing him kissing her for the first time was the worst day," she said, adding that Wyatt never formally broke up with her.
"The hardest part is that he ghosted me. He loved me, but he didn’t have enough respect for me to have that tough conversation," Stevens told People.
