Even koalas need a little air conditioning to cool off.
In a Facebook post published Monday, Tim Whitrow said he was checking fruit at the New Alluca Wine vineyard in Australia when he left the door open to his car so his dog could pop in and out to enjoy the air conditioning to stay cool. When he returned, he discovered a koala relaxing inside.
"As I was moving to another part of the vineyard I noticed that someone else was also in the car enjoying the A/C," Whitrow wrote.
One video posted by Whitrow shows the koala hanging out in the back seat as his dog attempts to sniff it out from the front passenger seat.
"This is what happens when you leave your car doors open in a vineyard," Whitrow said in one of his videos. "Koalas jump into your car and your dog is really curious."
In another video, Whitrow attempts to nudge the koala out of his car, and the animal moves to the front seats and climbs on to the dashboard.
"C’mon buddy, you’re tearing up my dash," Whitrow said. The koala eventually hopped out of the passenger side of the vehicle and ran off.
"It took a fair bit of convincing to get the feisty little fella out," Whitrow wrote.
