'The Masked Singer' recap: You will never guess which celebrity is the Alien

Spoiler alert! This story contains details from "The Masked Singer" Season 1, Episode 7, including the identity of the eliminated celebrity.

These singers fighting to stay hidden.

Wednesday's episode of Fox hit "The Masked Singer" revealed another celebrity this week as the final six competitors – Peacock, Monster, Bee, Alien, Rabbit and Lion – put on their best performances.

Monster kicked off the show with a soulful rendition of Joan Jett & the Blackhearts' "I Love Rock 'n' Roll," after revealing he grew up "down South." The judges were blown away by his performance. Robin Thicke called the furry creature his "favorite," throwing out a guess of "In Living Color" alum Tommy Davidson. Jenny McCarthy thinks it's Lil Jon, while guest judge J.B. Smoove thinks it’s boxer Mike Tyson after the monster said he’s "stepping back into the ring."

The Monster's moment of truth: He was not on "In Living Color." Sorry Robin.

Next up was the Lion, who brought the house down with Lady Gaga's "Diamond Heart." "She always delivers every single week," McCarthy said. She guessed the fierce competitor is a member of a girl group because the lion previously said she's "separating herself from the pack." McCarthy's final guess: Spice Girl Mel B or a member of Destiny's Child. Nicole Scherzinger thinks it may be "True Grit" actress Hailee Steinfeld.

Lion's moment of truth: "I have a subscription to a monthly murder-mystery game." McCarthy replied, "Who doesn't?"

Alien gave an out-of-this-world performance of Elle King “Ex’s & Oh's." "I feel like every week you're stepping up your game," Scherzinger said, while Thicke added that "this is the trickiest one for me." McCarthy guessed it's either Nicole or Sofia Richie because the alien claims to be from a famous family. Ken Jeong guessed Paula Abdul because of an earlier snake reference. Scherzinger pointed out that La Toya Jackson had a pet snake.

Alien's hint: "I have been on The New York Times Best Seller list twice."

Bee took us back in time with Tina Turner’s "What's Love Got to Do with It." "You are obviously a living legend and we are honored to have you on the show," Thicke said, before guessing Gladys Knight. However, the Bee dropped several song titles that confused the judges before taking the stage. McCarthy and Scherzinger agreed it could be Patti LaBelle or Anita Baker, while Jeong thinks it's Turner herself.

Bee's moment of truth: "I have 10 Grammys." Maybe the judges are on to something.

Rabbit kept things hopping along with a circus-themed performance of Stevie Wonder’s "Isn’t She Lovely." He accompanied his vocals with choreography that convinced the judges he's a true performer. "He’s a boy-bander for sure," McCarthy said. Nicole agreed, guessing 'N Sync members J.C. Chasez or Joey Fatone. McCarthy even guessed it might be her husband, New Kids on the Block's Donnie Wahlberg: "He hasn’t answered the phone every time Bunny is on stage!"

Rabbit's moment of truth revealed he has "17 tattoos on my body." When asked if that helps, McCarthy replied, "None of this does."

Peacock was the last to take the stage, singing the Weeknd’s "Can’t Feel My Face." "You always find a way to make us laugh and make us smile," Thicke said, pointing to his showbiz background. Smoove thinks it's Wayne Brady because of his Las Vegas residency, while McCarthy guessed Neil Patrick Harris or Donny Osmond.

Peacock's final clue was that he's had his face tattooed on someone's body. *scratches head*

In the end, it was Alien who was sent packing and ordered to unmask. The judges final guesses? McCarthy picked Sofia Richie, Scherzinger selected La Toya Jackson, Jeong thought Paula Abdul, Smoove guessed Carmen Electra and Thicke also picked Jackson.

When the mask comes off it's … drum roll please … La Toya Jackson. The singer revealed that she signed on for the show because "people have a tendency to prejudge you … and they compare you to other people in your family. So I wanted to do it and see how far I'd go."

Jackson, the older sister of icon Michael Jackson, joins unmasked singers talk show-host Ricki Lake (Raven); actress Tori Spelling (Unicorn); comedian Margaret Cho (Poodle); former NFL quarterback and Fox Sports commentator Terry Bradshaw (Deer); comedian Tommy Chong (Pineapple); and Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Antonio Brown (Hippo).

"The Masked Singer" is now moving into the semifinals next week, where two singers will be unmasked for the first time ever.
