'Vanderpump Rules' star Brittany Cartwright claims fellow Delta passenger assaulted her

One "Vanderpump Rules" star ended 2018 on an unfortunate note.

Brittany Cartwright alleges a fellow passenger on a Delta flight on Dec. 30 pushed her, pulled her hair and stuck gum in it after a confrontation near the plane's restroom. The Bravo TV star says she will be pressing charges.

Cartwright took to Twitter to claim the unnamed woman tried going into the first-class bathroom three or four times while she was inside.

"When I stepped out I showed her the door and pointed out where it said occupied and vacant," Cartwright wrote.

She claims the woman and a man she was with then began pointing at her. Things escalated after they got out of the jet bridge upon landing at Miami International Airport.

According to her tweets, the woman pushed Cartwright and pulled her hair, all of which her fiance and co-star Jax Taylor witnessed. Cartwright later discovered gum in her hair.

"This kind of behavior is not acceptable and I will be pressing charges," Cartwright continued. "This incident was a complete assault. I had to cut gum out of my hair. I did absolutely nothing to deserve this and I feel like a mean girl like this needs to be put in their place before she acts like this to someone else."

Delta is aware of the incident and responded to her via Twitter, writing "I just want you to know someone from our Executive team will be in touch with you."

USA TODAY has reached out to Cartwright's rep for comment. The airport referred USA TODAY to Delta.

This wasn't Cartwright's first travel headache of the season. She tweeted about a delay on her Delta flight one day earlier on Dec. 29.
