'The Voice' recap: Adam Levine's entire team wiped out in shocking Top 8 reveal

The Top 8 contestants are set on "The Voice."

Tuesday's episode revealed the results from Fan Week, in which each artist's song was picked by viewers. With no coach rescues left, the final say on who advanced to the semifinals was in the viewers' hands.

Blake Shelton's team remained largely intact, with five of his six members advancing. The same could not be said about his frenemy Adam Levine, whose entire team was eliminated.

America's saves

Team Shelton's Gyth Rigdon, Carter Lloyd Horne, Andrew Sevener and Dexter Roberts moved on. Roberts said, "I couldn’t be more blessed."

Team Legend's Maelyn Jarmon – whose performance of Coldplay's "The Scientist" was the most streamed by a "Voice" artist overnight on Apple Music – advanced. She will be joined in the semifinals by team member Shawn Sounds.

The public also saved Team Clarkson's Rod Stokes.

Instant Save

Team Levine's LB Crew, Mari Jones and Team Shelton's Kim Cherry went head-to-head for the last spot in the Top 8.

Cherry sang a sassy rendition of En Vogue's "My Lovin' (You're Never Gonna Get It)."

"I can’t believe (Cherry) was even in this Twitter save moment, but you did what you always do. You get up onstage, you own the moment and you embrace who you are," Shelton said. "I pray America votes you through tonight because you need to be on this show."

Jones brought her signature style to Disclosure's "Latch," slowing the song to showcase her artistic vocals. Levine said it should be enough to move forward, voicing his frustration over America not voting her through.

"It’s really upsetting that you're even here right now, because if you have eyes and ears, you should never have let this happen," Levine said. "I don’t understand, I don’t get it. I’m in shock."

Next up was Crew, who is no stranger to Instant Save. Last week, he beat Comeback Stage finalist Kanard Thomas to win the last spot in the Top 13.

This week he sang Khalid's "Better." Levine said, "You are an unbelievable vocalist and I love how you perform. You’re so deserving to be here."

But determining the winner was not up to the coaches. Twitter had the power to decide during a five-minute flash round of voting by tweet.

In the end, Cherry advanced.

Eliminations

The three singers with the fewest votes were handed their walking papers: Team Shelton's Oliv Blu, Team Clarkson's Jej Vinson and Team Legend's Celia Babini.

When Jones and Crew were eliminated in the Instant Save, it wiped out the Maroon 5 front man's entire team.

Team count

Shelton: 5
