Deann Sena O'Connor, has been promoted to executive vice president at SUNNY505. She has 25 years of marketing experience, and joined the company in 2021, after freelancing for the firm for 10 years. Prior to joining SUNNY505, she had her own graphic design firm, DSO Creative, and also worked in the graphics design department at Central New Mexico Community College. She is a graduate of New Mexico State University.

David Dabney,has been promoted to vice president of web design & development at SUNNY505. He has been with the company for more than a decade, after freelancing for the firm for several years. Prior to joining SUNNY505, he worked at the Weekly Alibi and was a founding partner of Burt's Tiki Lounge in Downtown Albuquerque. He is a graduate of the University of New Mexico.

Angelo Mitchell has been promoted to multimedia specialist at SUNNY505. Mitchell has 15 years of marketing experience, and has been with SUNNY505 for five years. Prior to joining the SUNNY505 team, he worked with HK Advertising and the New Mexico Tourism Department. He is a graduate of New Mexico Highlands University.

Ricca Gachupin has been promoted to billing specialist at SUNNY505. Gachupin has been with the company for three years. Prior to joining SUNNY505, she held various management positions in the hospitality industry.

Bulletin Board

SCORE Albuquerque will host it workshop titled "Ask the Expert Q&A: Sales" from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday via Zoom. Eddy Mindlin, certified SCORE mentor with decades of sales experience and first-hand knowledge as a small business owner, will answer sales-related questions in this Q&A-style workshop. The Albuquerque Chapter of Executive Women International will hold the January meeting Tuesday 5:30 — 7:30 p.m. at Mimi's Cafe, located at 4316 The 25 Way NE. The meeting will feature Christina Daly-Smith. She returned to New Mexico after training and dancing professionally across the country and overseas for several years. Daly-Smith was director of Dance & Dance Teacher for more than 10 years in the NM public school systems, where she implemented literacy in dance. She is the founding owner and director of her New York dance business, Sparrow Dance Productions, which aims to help heal community trauma through dance and performing arts.
