Apple TV+ to Make NYCC Debut With M Night Shyamalan’s ‘Servant’ – Watch a Teaser Here (Video)

Apple TV+ is making its New York Comic Con debut in October with a first look at M. Night Shyamalan’s psychological thriller series, “Servant,” the forthcoming streaming service announced on Tuesday.

“Servant” follows a Philadelphia couple in mourning after an unspeakable tragedy creates a rift in their marriage and opens the door for a mysterious force to enter their home.

Here’s the description for the NYCC event, “A Night with M. Night Introducing ‘Servant’ on Apple TV+,” which will take place Thursday, Oct. 3 at 8p.m. in the Hammerstein Ballroom: Apple TV+ presents M. Night Shyamalan’s psychological thriller “Servant,” with exclusive first-look footage and a discussion with M. Night, the cast and creative team, at 2019 New York Comic Con.

In attendance will be the “Servant” cast, including Lauren Ambrose (“Six Feet Under”), Toby Kebbell (“Kong: Skull Island,” “Fantastic Four,” “Black Mirror”), Nell Tiger Free (“Game of Thrones”), Rupert Grint (“Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Part 2,” “Snatch”), executive producer M. Night Shyamalan (“Glass,” “Split,” “The Sixth Sense”) and writer/creator Tony Basgallop (“Inside Men,” “What Remains”).

Apple TV+ will cost $4.99 per month and debut on Nov. 1. The service will be included for customers who buy a new iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac or iPod touch, starting Sept. 10. Apple will also offer a seven-day free trial when Apple TV+ debuts.

Some of the original shows that will be available on Apple TV+ at launch include Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston’s drama “The Morning Show,” Ronald D. Moore’s “For All Mankind,” the Hailee Steinfeld-led comedy “Dickinson” and the Jason Momoa sci-fi series “See.”
