Applebee's Date Night Passes sell out in seconds. Here's where you can use them in Florida

Were you lucky enough to snag an Applebee's Date Night Pass?

If so, consider yourself very lucky.

The restaurant chain sold out of the Date Night Passes within a minute Monday, the day they were released for purchase.

While the restaurant hasn't announced any plans to repeat the promotion, if you did get a pass, here's what you should know, including what you get, where you can use it, and what Florida restaurants are not participating.

What is the Applebee's Date Night Pass?

The Applebee’s Date Night Pass can be used 52 times — for those weekly date nights — between Feb. 1, 2024, and Jan. 31, 2025.

Use the pass and get a discount of up to $30 for food and non-alcoholic beverages.

The pass cannot be used more than once in a 24-hour period.

How did people get the Date Night Pass?

The passes were available for purchase on Applebee’s website starting at 9 a.m. EST Jan. 22.

Only a limited number of exclusive passes were available and the restaurant said it expected them to sell out fast.

They did.

The passes were sold out within a minute.

The “excitement and demand from guests for Applebee’s Date Night Pass far surpassed our expectations,” an Applebee’s spokesperson told USA TODAY.

How much did the Applebee's Date Night Pass cost?

The Date Night Pass cost $200.

If used weekly for the saving of $30 each time, users can save $1,560.

Can you use the Date Night Pass for to-go orders?

Yes.

To use the pass when dining at the restaurant, customers should present the pass to their server when placing their order.

If placing an order to dine at home, enter the 10-character code on the back of the pass in the promo code section on the checkout page.

How many Applebee's are there in Florida?

There are just under 90 Applebee's in the state. In some cities, there are more than one location, including five in Orlando; three in Sarasota and Jacksonville; and two in Melbourne and Tallahassee.

You'll also find at least one Applebee's in Pensacola, Panama City, Daytona Beach, West Palm Beach, Naples and Fort Myers, according to the chain's website.

Not all Florida locations participating in Applebee's Date Night Pass

Several Applebee's locations around the U.S. are not participating in the promotion, including two in Florida.

You won't be able to use the pass at:

  • 4000 Park Blvd., Pinellas Park

  • 2901 66th St. North, St. Petersburg
