Arcadia head football coach Alan Hall has been named the school's new athletic director, the high school announced last Friday.

Hall, who has served as the head football coach at Arcadia since 2018, was previously the varsity line coach and junior varsity defensive coordinator for the Firebirds. An Arcadia alum and graduate of Campbell University, Hall has 11 years of experience coaching basketball, baseball and volleyball, in addition to football.

"Coach Hall is looking forward to this opportunity and to build upon the strong tradition associated with Firebird Athletics," the school said in a statement. "His goal is to place an emphasis on character and student performance in the classroom, as well as provide all student-athletes an opportunity to maximize their potential while here at Arcadia High School and after-graduation."
