Everyone knows about the rushing attack for the Knights (6-0).

Few have been able stop it. The Warriors (4-2) put up a good fight, but eventually were worn down as Lamar Sperling, 158 yards and four touchdowns on 27 carries, and Caleb Jones, 114 yards on 11 carries, took center stage for an offense that put up 438 total yards Friday night.

Hoban's Jayvian Crable had four catches for 97 yards.

Kerscher threw completions to eight receivers with John Keough (98 yards, TD) his big target.

“We knew they were going to throw the ball however many times they were going to throw it which was a bunch,” Hoban coach Tim Tyrrell said. “Once our guys calmed down, they relaxed, and we got some heat on them.”

It was back-and-forth most of the way until a 5-yard touchdown from Sperling started the fourth quarter and his 52-yard run ended Hoban’s scoring.

The game ended on a 35-yard touchdown from Kerscher to Keough.
