Archdale gas leak lead to evacuations

Several reports detail a gas leak in Archdale which has lead to the evacuation of a number of businesses, Monday afternoon.

The Guil-Rand Fire Department in Archdale are among the agencies reporting a fuel leak near the intersection of Bonnie Place and West White Drive. The department did not provide additional information.

Duke Energy suggests several tips if you suspect a gas leak at your home or place of work. These include immediately vacating the building and calling emergency responders. Do not turn off or on electrical devices, vehicles, or reenter a building suspected of leaking gas.
