Area Fourth of July celebrations
Fourth of July celebration dates and times in area communities are as follows:
July 1
First Friday in Cambridge. July’s theme is Scoops & Dogs Forever.
July 2
Seneca Lake Park. The fireworks are scheduled to begin at 10 p.m.
Barnesville Memorial Park. Fireworks scheduled to begin at dusk.
July 4
Cambridge City Park’s Boom-a-Rama scheduled to begin at dusk.
The Cambridge City Band will perform at the Cambridge City Park. The concert is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. Food and beverages will be available on site.
Noble County Fairgrounds. A chicken barbecue at 11 a.m., car and truck show running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., a children's carnival from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and fireworks display at 10 p.m.
July 9
New Concord fireworks are scheduled to begin at dusk. The fireworks are part of the New Concord Fireman's Festival.
The Ohio Hills Folk Festival fireworks display is scheduled to begin at 10 p.m. The festival runs from July 6 to 9 in Quaker City.
