Wayne Holmes Artist Exhibition, through Feb. 7, Wayne Center for the Arts, 237 S. Walnut St., Wooster. Wayne Center for the Arts. The yearly showcase presenting talents of artists within the Wayne and Holmes counties in the Gault and Looney galleries in the form of a curated exhibit, which includes judged and fan-voted awards.

Shreve Library Book Sale, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Shreve Public Library. Children's books, cookbooks, fiction, science fiction, novels, books on tape, books on CDs, movies, music, etc. Costs are $3 a bag full or 50 cents for hardbacks, movies and CDs and 25 cents for paperbacks.

GTCPS Gun Show, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, GTCPS Community Center, 148 S. Milton St., Smithville; fundraiser to help support children's programs. Tables are $10 each. Email info@gtcps.org to set up. Concession stand with food, coffee, and drinks available by donation.

Saturday Steak Fry, 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Shreve American Legion, Forest Post 67, 10094 Shreve Road, Shreve. Enjoy our $20 Steaks with all the fixing.

English Country Dance, 7-9 p.m. Saturday, Valley College Grange, 2411 Shreve Road, Wooster. Music by Fourpence. Group dancing 1600s to present in longways sets, circles and squares. Instruction by Susan English. No partner necessary. Carry clean shoes and a personal water flask. Mask optional. Brooks Curtis Memorial Polar Bear Jump, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, Caskey’s Campground, 1489 Fosnight Road, Orrville. Registration is available on the Orrville Area Boys & Girls Club website. The costs are $100 to jump and $150 not to jump. Food and beverages will be provided. Proceeds benefit the OABGC.

Auction features more than 300 listings with a variety of goods, services and experiences. There will be an online auction March 3-10. Funds raised support the Fair Balance Fund, which allows students’ families to pay variable rates of tuition fairly based on income and resources.
