Area high school rankings, Central Parkway changes, today's top stories | Daily Briefing
Good morning and happy back-to-school season! Education reporter Madeline Mitchell here.
U.S. News & World Report published its best high school rankings today. Spoiler alert: Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky schools are on the list. Our region also took four of the top five spots in Ohio.
The magazine ranked the nation's public high schools by state, city, district and other categories. I rounded up the most interesting local takeaways (you can find those here), but feel free to go to the magazine's website for a full list of nearly 18,000 public high schools across the country.
I'm also working on several other education and children's issues stories that you'll see throughout the school year. If you think there's something I should be looking into, I'm always available to take tips and meet up for coffee (or tea). Drop me a line at memitchell@enquirer.com or message me on Twitter/X, at @maddiemitch_, to start a conversation.
