Area of Highway 180 in Fresno will be temporarily closed

FRESNO, Calif. (KGPE/KSEE) – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) announced on Monday overnight scheduled ramp closures for guardrail repairs for a portion of Highway 180 in Fresno on Friday.

Caltrans says closures may continue for longer periods if necessary due to delays caused by weather – or other uncontrollable events. The closures are due to take place on Saturday, Jan. 27 between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m.

According to Caltrans, the road closures scheduled are:

  • The connector ramps from both northbound and southbound Highway 99 to eastbound Highway 180 will be closed.

  • The connector ramps from both northbound and southbound Highway 99 to westbound Highway 180 will be closed.
