Area school district closed today due to chance of severe storms

Botkins Local School announced it will be closed Wednesday due to the chance of severe storms.

“Students must go to their Google Classroom today,” the district said on its website.

A Wind Advisory has been issued for the entire Miami Valley until 8 p.m.

Storms are expected to push into the afternoon and evening, and damaging winds, isolated tornadoes, and hail will be possible
