Nov. 5—Keene football ends season with win over Memorial in consolation game

MANCHESTER — The Keene football team ended the season on a high note, with a 23-20 win over Manchester Memorial in a consolation game in Manchester.

Junior David Glodgett went 3-for-3 on field goal attempts, hitting kicks from 30, 38 and 34 yards. He also kicked two extra points.

Sophomore Sawyer Lepple scored on a seven-yard touchdown run. Junior Jasiah Sales and sophomore Aiden Ioannou both also ran well.

The defense came up with timely turnovers. Junior Jacob Worcester had an interception, senior Jonny Griffin forced a fumble which classmate Troy Rabold recovered and junior Isaac Nelson had a 50-yard pick-six.

"All in all a great end to the season," said assistant coach Zach Joyal in a text. "We're so happy that we were able to win that one for our seniors. A great team win to end us on the right note. Hopefully we can carry some of that into next season."

Keene ends the season at 2-8.
