Love it or loathe it, Black Friday and Cyber Monday are now a firmly established part of the global shopping calendar, with many retailers looking to secure shoppers' custom in the lead-up to Christmas with a tempting deal or two.
High street chains, including the likes of Argos, are no exception. Before the main event, it was well-prepared, building out a comprehensive-looking landing page full of tips for customers seeking a bargain — with top tips including adding products to your wishlist, checking out item return policies, and making sure your online account is all set up and ready to go.

When browsing the latest Argos Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals, look for items marked with a green 'Price promise' label. Items shown with this label from November 1-28 are guaranteed to go no lower in price before January 1, 2024.

Cyber Monday Argos TV deals
Two TV sets – one 4K and one Full HD – are currently marked as both Black Friday and 'Price Promise' items at Argos.
There's the Toshiba Fire 50" set, marked down from £379 to £299 (it is a pound cheaper at Amazon, but it's also currently out of stock there).
Argos customers also have the option of bundling one of a selection of half-price Samsung soundbars with their new set (that offer is also running until November 28).
Meanwhile, if you don't feel you need 4K and are quite content with 1920 x 1080 resolution, then LG's 43", 2023-edition Full HD smart TV set is reduced to under £200 – and again, customers can take advantage of that half-price Samsung soundbar bundle offer.
Black Friday Argos toy deals, including LEGO
If you're looking to get stuck into a new LEGO set, Argos has a selection of decent discounts.
The LEGO Ultimate Collector Series Star Wars Millennium Falcon will take up plenty of your time – it has over 7,000 pieces, after all. For Black Friday, it's been given a 20% price cut on the usual £735 RRP, and Argos will sell it to you for £588.
And that's not the only Star Wars LEGO set on sale – you can save a third on another Ultimate Collector Series item, Luke Skywalker's landspeeder (was £210, now £140).
Meanwhile, Disney's Up house set has had its price cut to just £30 for the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale. Argos has also designated this as a 'Price Promise' item, which means it won't be cheaper than this for the remainder of 2023.
Complementing the detailed LEGO Ideas Jazz Club set, there's a 25% off sale on the Jazz Quartet set (RRP £90, now £67.50). Build your own pianist, trumpeter, double bass player and drummer and bring them to life on stage.
Elsewhere... he's just Ken, but he is on sale. This replica Barbie movie Ken doll, inspired by Ryan Gosling's version of the character, is dressed in pastel striped, beach-ready shirt and shorts, and comes complete with a bright blue surfboard.
If you want one for your Mojo Dojo Casa House, then you can save 20% on the usual RRP (was £45, now £36).
Sticking with the coastal theme, the Barbie Dream Boat playset has been cut to less than half its usual RRP of £63.99, for a Cyber Monday deal price of £30.
Black Friday Argos gaming deals, including PS5
A number of PS5 consoles and bundles were on sale at Argos this Black Friday and Cyber Monday. In addition to a £90 price cut on the usual RRP of the disc console, there were savings on console bundles for a number of top games including EA Sports FC 24, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.
However, unfortunately, the PS5 is out of stock for collection and delivery in most locations now. This is most likely due to a combination of the price cut and the launch of its defacto successor, the PS5 Slim later this week.
Meanwhile, a PS5 controller with EA Sports FC 24 package has been cut to £64.99 – it was previously £99.99.

Argos is also one of several retailers that has the Meta Quest 2 VR headset 128GB edition marked down to £249.99 for Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
While this headset has recently been succeeded by the Meta Quest 3, which features full-colour passthrough and improved resolution, the Quest 2 is still a fantastic device in its own right and can run all the same games and apps as the new hardware.
It has the Xbox Series X 1TB edition listed for £369 (although note some retailers still have it listed for £359 as of November 27).
It also has discounts on a number of official accessories, such as the Xbox Series X and S wireless controllers like the one shown above.
Argos is one of a number of retailers listing a Nintendo Switch OLED bundled with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and 3 months of Nintendo Switch Online for £299.99.
Black Friday Argos electricals deals, including air fryers
Air fryers are being discounted far and wide at the moment. If you're shopping in the entry-level bracket, you might be interested in this 5L model from Tefal, which is half-price at £40 during the current promotion.
It also has a Tower air fryer with two baskets and an 8-litre capacity available for half price (RRP £150, now £75).
Also on sale for less than half price is this cordless Shark vacuum cleaner, which uses Shark's Anti Hair Wrap tech to remove hair from the brush roll as you clean, sucking it directly into the dust cup and saving you a tedious job.
At £150 (usually £319.99), it's less than half price for Black Friday. This is comfortably the cheapest price we've seen for this model.
Black Friday Argos phone deals
Google is featuring the excellent Pixel 7a in its own Black Friday sale, and Argos has the mid-range champ at the same price of £379. That gets you the 128GB 5G model and saves you £70.
It's also offering a saving of £50 on the new Google Pixel 8 until November 28, if you use the code GOOGLE50 at checkout.
There are also price cuts on selected SIM-free Apple, Samsung and HONOR handsets at Argos over the Black Friday and Cyber Monday weekend.
Black Friday Argos audio deals - soundbars, earphones and more
If you're in the market for a new soundbar, Argos is currently the place to pick up the Sonos Arc, where now priced at £699 (usually £899) – this is the retailer's lowest price to date for this item, according to its product listing.
This is Sonos' flagship soundbar, and while it's been around for a while now, it's still the Dolby Atmos soundbar to beat, in our opinion.
Meanwhile, Roku's versatile Streambar – a streaming device and soundbar all in one – is better than half-price at Argos at the moment. Usually retailing for £129.99, it's currently £59.99 – and not many other major retailers are currently offering it for a discounted price.
Elsewhere, there are price cuts on earbuds from the likes of JLab, Marshall and Jabra, while Argos also has the 2nd gen Apple AirPods listed for under £100 this Cyber Monday (there's also a £20 price cut on the newer 3rd gen version of the AirPods).
