Ariana Grande Broke Up With Her Ponytail — Again

Post-secret wedding, post-chart topping collaboration with The Weeknd, Ariana Grande is showing off a brand-new haircut, eschewing her signature ponytail for a flippy, shoulder-grazing bob. While Grande is known for her long, high ponytail, fans can rest assured that a few extensions will have their superstar singer back to her trademark look, but for now, it looks like she's embracing a summer chop and a few other very 2021 trends.
E! News reports that Grande posted the image to her Instagram Stories. In the snapshot, Grande proudly shows off the new style, which ends in a soft flip. She added a fuzzy orange bucket hat and kept a few of her other signature style moves, like her winged liner and soft makeup.

Back in 2019, Grande chopped off her hair and let her fans see her natural, curly hair texture. She shared a photo of her 5-year-old self with the texture and a more recent (at the time) photo, saying that not much had changed, though she tossed in a self-deprecating joke, just because.
"If i'm honest ..... this is still exactly what i look like without lashes and my pony ..... anyone who knows me knows me knows ..... like .... i'm twenty five," she wrote on Twitter. "I was five here. the only difference now is that hand now says bbq grill finger."
