Ariana Grande Covers Pete Davidson Tattoo With a Sweet Tribute to Mac Miller

The pop star has covered up yet another tattoo from her past relationship.

Whether or not you call yourself an Ariana Grande fan, chances are you're aware that the 25-year-old singer-songwriter has her fair share of tattoos. This is not because Grande is particularly showy with her ink, but ever since she split from former fiancé Pete Davidson, headlines have been circulating about their tattoo history together, including the body art both stars have gotten removed or altered since breaking off the engagement.

Most recently, in a behind-the-scenes video for the singer's "Thank U, Next" music video, Grande revealed she had covered up the "8418" tattoo on her foot, which she had gotten in honor of her ex's father, Scott Davidson, who died in the terrorist attacks on 9/11 as a firefighter (8418 was his badge number).

In the video, around 2:33, you can hear Grande say, "Look at my Myron. Guys, come look. How cool right?" encouraging crew members on set to come see the design.

Blanketed over the old ink is an homage to the dog Grande shared with ex-boyfriend and late rapper, Mac Miller. The two adopted the dog in January 2017 when they were still dating, though it remained living with the "God Is a Woman" singer after they separated in May. Grande then adopted Myron after Miller's death this past September.

Following their split, Grande also replaced the "Pete" tattoo on her ring finger with a black heart and covered another that read, "Reborn" on her thumb. Davidson has also reportedly altered some of his Ariana-related tattoos, like the bunny ears he had tattooed behind his ear.

Needless to say, Myron is clearly still a major part of Grande's life and this new ink couldn't be cuter. If you're curious to see Grande reveal the tattoo herself, go ahead and tune in to the video, below.
