Ariana Grande Just Wore Her Hair Down To Perform And People Are Freaking Out
Ariana Grande ditched her iconic ponytail for the Chicago, Illinois, stop on her tour, and fans were totally surprised.
Ariana only wears her hair down in public occasionally, which is why it’s so odd to see her that way.
Breaking! News! Ariana Grande was spotted without her ponytail last night, and the internet is generally unwell about it.
She posted a picture from behind-the-scenes of what looks like her Chicago concert, where she was eating a tub of blueberries, and her hair was noticeably not sky-high and slicked back so far it looked like it would give a normal person a migraine.
“This hair is EVERYTHING 😍🙌🏽” one commenter wrote. Another person tagged her friend and wrote, “Her hair down😍❤️🖤” which, yeah, definitely. “Omg look this hair 🖤🖤” another said.

As Ariana has explained before, beauty, and the high pony specifically, is a pain. Back in November, Camila Cabello tweeted at her to tell her about her own attempt. “I just did a high ponytail for the first time, and it is literally pulling on my BRAIN ITS SO PAINFUL HOW DO YOU DO IT @ArianaGrande” she wrote.
And Ariana was real quick to reply, writing “well u actually have hair so that prolly makes it a lil more painful ..... nah jk i’m in constant pain always and don’t care at all.” LOL.
Camila then told her the ponytail didn’t last long, “I had to take it off #ThankUNext,” she wrote.
Ari, sarcastic as every, was like “Awwww so happy for u, u still feel things. MUST BE NICE *crying and smiling*.”
So not only is her hair-down look incredibly pretty, but it also probably gives her head a much-needed break. Sounds like a win-win if you ask me.
