Ariana Grande Has a Lob, and We're Not OK

Thank u, next. That's what we can only assume that Ariana Grande just said to her signature ponytail. Ditching her go-to look (temporarily or permanently, we don't know), the singer took to Instagram to show off a new, much shorter hairstyle. Oh yes, fam: Ariana Grande now has a lob.

Grande posted a selfie (complete with the floral bunny filter), which captured cropped cut. Surprisingly, her caption didn't highlight the lob, or her lack of ponytail, at all: "this filter took my eyebrows away but i promise they’re there," she wrote.

Because her hair is legit always in a high ponytail, we never really know if its naturally that long, or if she's using extensions. This is the first time we've seen her hair at a collarbone-grazing length in quite sometime.

So will Grande join the millions of lob lovers out there? It's a cute cut, we wouldn't blame her. But if history truly repeats itself, Grande's ponytail will be back.
