Ariana Grande Shared Another Clip of New AG5 Song "Needy"

On to the next one.

Ariana Grande is back in the studio, and what we’ve heard so far sounds amazing. Back in October, Ariana teased the possibility of new music on her Instagram Story, and even hid clues to a possible new album tracklist in her “Breathin’” music video. Oh, and then there’s a little song called “Thank U, Next,” a surprise single that became a smash hit almost overnight.

Ariana seems ready for her next big move, though, and she shared a snippet of herself singing to a new song, called “Needy,” on Twitter.

In the video, we can hear Ari singing along to a quiet piano. “I can be needy/so hard to please me. I know it feels so good to be needed, hey,” she sings. It’s a really short clip — give us more, Ariana! — but it sounds like “Needy” is going to be a slow, show-stopping ballad. She followed that up with another tweet, writing, “good at overthinking w my heart .... how u even think it got this far,” which fans think may be more lyrics to “Needy.”

Ariana has given us peeks at “Needy” before. She posted a longer snippet back in October, to the delight of fans, and she’s also teased that it could be part what fans are calling AG5, her next album.

Fans are waiting for “Needy” to drop with bated breath; they flooded her latest Tweet about the song with enthusiastic praise and pleaded with Ariana to drop the song now. “This honestly gave me chills,” wrote one fan. (Same.) “WE WANT THE SONG,” wrote another. “I can’t wait to hear this live,” added a fan, saying what we were all thinking. Clearly, “Needy” is already a fan favorite, and we haven’t even heard more than a minute of it yet.
