Ariana Grande’s First Campaign for Givenchy Is Here—See All the Photos

Ariana Grande can officially check off another box in her already storied career: starring in a high-fashion campaign.

Like Emma Stone and Sophie Turner with Louis Vuitton or Jennifer Lawrence with Dior, Grande has landed a deal with a major luxury house—Meghan Markle's go-to designer, Givenchy. She was announced as the face of the brand in May (she even got a hashtag, #Arivenchy). And her first ads, shot by Craig McDean, just dropped.

Creative director Clare Waight Keller said in a statement that Grande, Givenchy found "a modern embodiment of its signature spirit: an elegant attitude informed by beauty, individuality. and a sense of empowerment."

The portraits were taken by McDean in the manner of Hubert de Givenchy's famous "sittings," with Grande wearing some of the key looks from the fall 2019 "Winter of Eden" collection.

In the images, she poses in pleated floral dresses, dramatic tops, and more tailored designs. Grande also shows off Givenchy's new, geometric-shaped statement bag, the Eden.

Of course, Grande sports her signature ponytail in all of the photos.

The Arianators are already flipping out over the images on social media. "I’m so damn proud of her," one fan wrote on Twitter. "I feel like so many people are hating on ariana for being the new face of givenchy, but she's gorgeous and she deserves this big opportunity," another said.

The images are certainly stunning, but Grande recently revealed she isn't the only fashionista in her family. “My family is eccentric and weird and loud and Italian,” she told Vogue. “There was always this fascination with the macabre. My mom [Joan Grande] is goth. Her whole wardrobe is modeled after Cersei Lannister’s. I’m not kidding. I’m like, ‘Mom, why are you wearing epaulets? It’s Thanksgiving.’"

We suggest Ari, Joan, and Nonna for the next campaign.
