Arizona has 25 casinos. Here's where they are and which casino is the biggest

The 1990s gave birth to casinos in Arizona, making them legal so long as they were built on Native American reservations, according to the American Casino Guidebook.

Now, many years later the state is home to 25 casinos, eight of which can be reached with just a 10-minute drive from Phoenix, according to the Arizona Gamily Commission.

One of those also happens to be the largest casino in the state. Talking Sticks Resort and Casino, located near Scottsdale, opened in 2010 and covers over 500,000 square feet. The resort is located on the Salt River and Pima-Maricopa Indian Reservation. The casino has more than 800 slot machines, poker tables and game tables.
